Ethiopian supermodel launches kids line at J. Crew
Liya Kebede, the Ethiopian born super model launches a new line of children cloth named Lemlem at U.S. retailer J. Crew. The cloth is made in Ethiopia from hand-woven Ethiopian cotton. According to a report by USA Today, Liya Kebede wants to give back to her native Ethiopia. "They had this incredible talent, but didn't really have a market," she said. "I wanted to introduce them to the Western market...to see if we can help that industry. I wanted to at least do my part for the country.", Liya Kebede was quoted as saying.
