XENIA — The widow of an accused Yellow Springs drug dealer was put on five years probation for her role in a drug ring that imported cocaine and marijuana to Greene County.

Bekelech M. Asefa, 26, [a native of Ethiopia] from Canal Winchester near Columbus, pleaded guilty to attempted complicity to racketeering and money laundering in October. She agreed to forfeit a car, cash and property. Judge J. Timothy Campbell sentenced her Tuesday, Dec. 15.

Asefa was married to Umoja “Iddi” Bakari, who hanged himself in a Georgia jail in 2008. He had fled the Columbus area when police raided homes he owned.

First, you should know grammar and spelling before passing judgment on anyone. You're trying to be an expert on everything including how to use tasa matamta.

CRAC-HEAD s/b crack-head
CRAC-HORES s/b crack-whores
Poisens s/b poisonous
dirty lives style - dirty life style

Dumb Bimbo,

What the hell did she see in a drug dealer. How many ethiopians sell drugs for a living in america. She could have had an ethiopian guy with a degree and a cultural connection. Your loss chickenhead.

“””Berye’ hoyi- sarun ayehena gedlun statyi””

recently no opening for parking attendant (large number of DV) so she think option B might be messing with dope and the dealers. She never thought about the praise. She is lucky could have been her life if she waited longer 'kinteram'

She should be deported to some godforsaken island in the middle of nowhere. This ugly biatch was destroying lives by distributing illicit drugs.

What happened to making her pay for her heinous crime?? Fat ugly LaKeisha would have turned her into her wife.

Dear Bekelech,

What a shame! There is no an easy ride in life you have to sweat to make it. The is risk to short cuts. Most importantly, you lost your pride. It is not money what give someone happiness but I appreciate what you caliber produce. You have used your private asset to solicit money, that is a shame. Money, Money, Money.... what did you tell to your beloved parents who brought you to that level? I believe they paid a lot of money to make sure you live better life and make a difference as well back home. Instead you join the "haram/illegal club".

Of course you are lucky with that great chance you are given. Given you repent and follow the right direction you have a lot of opportunities ahead. But if still believe in your "pussy" instead of you brain you be a dead loser. So wake up and believe your destiny is in your hand given you engage your gears.

Some of you asked what her parents would say if they knew the source of her big bucks, but aren't we, Ethiopians, who are sending thousands of our girls to middle east for prostitution on a daily basis? I mean, which parent in Ethiopia does not know that when his/her daughter leaves home for middle east, it is wurdet, siqay, engilit, mot and slavery that is awaiting her? Did they ever tried to stop them? May be some, but we still have thousands who are, in one or another way, pushing their own children to a living hell. Selling a drug in no worse than selling oneself. I, by no means, am not defending what this lady may have done, but don't act like we are from a morally just society when we are far from it. We are people who are exporting our own children to foreign lands hoping they will make a potential cash cow in the near future. Having said that, i would like to see the lady straighten up herself and become a better person.
