As we prepare to welcome 2010 and say goodbye to 2009, nazret is once again publishing the Person of The Year that has made the greatest impact for Ethiopia and Ethiopians around the world. This year, we have received more than 170 feedback from readers and selected the following five individuals as our finalists from our readers' recommendations.
It is now up to you to vote for the 2009 nazret.com's Person of The Year.
The nominees are Birtukan Mideksa, Dr. Eleni Gabre-Madhin, Dr. Gebisa Ejeta, Dr. Catherine Hamlin and Prof. Alemayehu G. Mariam. nazret will announce the Person of The Year after the poll closes.
