Ethiopian students occupy 30 per cent seats at India's defence research training institute
PUNE: The Defence Institute of Advanced Technology (DIAT), a premier defence research training institute of the country, seems to be attracting interest from the Ethiopian defence ministry, as nearly 30 per cent of the seats for post-graduate courses at the DAIT are occupied by the Ethiopians.
The DIAT deemed university has been contributing in the sphere of human resources development for the defence forces which imparts education and training in defence technology to officers of armed forces, scientists of the DRDO, technical officers of the Ordinance Factory Board, directorate of quality assurance, public sector undertakings and friendly foreign countries.
