You could be now a global trainer in the long distance; or join hands in the world sport politics - international olympics. You are a diplomat by nature, that place perfectly suits you and we Ethiopians support this to represent us in world class sport scenarios.

Congrats Haile, fabulous job. I am not really crazy about this sport but I am a huge fan of this man's sharp mind for business!! He created many jobs, built hotels, resort, buildings, he was working on car assembly plant not sure if that materialized yet. He is simply a genius, every Ethiopian should be proud of this man not only for representing Ethiopia on races but for being a natural business savvy, focused man. Most of all, he made it all from zero. I am very proud of him.

You are the greatest athlete ever! No kidding. You are self-disciplined, strong, caring, diplomat, businessman, family man with kids, down to earth, and many more qualities. It is very hard to find an athlete with all these qualities. You are truly a global hero, not just an Ethiopian hero.

I wish you all the best in the future. I think, 2012 marathon will be your last competition. God willing, we will see you break world record at the London 2012.

Because of your hard work and daily extensive training, you might look older than 38, but this is the price you pay when one exerts himself through such a painful training (I believe you are still running daily, 7 days a week for 3 hours).

ER Observer@ I agree with you but Ethiopia need another strong and young athelete apart from Haile cause the Kenyans are increasing in many comptition these days, So Ethiopia need to increase athletes in the compitition in case the expected athlete failed the other might make it. ke assir and ayitatam!!! more golds to Ethiopia. Tulu do not judge somebody age by the face. There are a lot of factors to estimate somebody's age. It was not far when Haile started running, at around of his 19 years old age and since then he became a renown athlete and there is no way to hide and subtract his age. He is perfect on his age but his face looks old because of the hard work of training he always does and he almost burn his fat that makes the face younger and this one factor it might be genetic or other factors that causes variation of faces expression of different people at same age. Ask the nutritionist how much fat, calorie and mineral are burned out by doing Haile type of training and running. Haile is a man of principle and versatile person.
