Somalia is a sovreign country, they have a thousand problems, an entangled web, but that will not stop the simple fact of what I said before. If they cross our borders, and attack us as in 1964, or 1977 we have a right to defend oursleves, but this constant meddeling in Somali affairs will not help us one bit in the long run. Especially, when the meddeling is being done by Woyanae, an entity which is secessionist at heart and has no knowledge of and caring for the eternal interest of our country Ethiopia. I think our concern should be more how to get the hearts and minds of the Somalis within our borders, as their Ethiopian citizenship demands that. Its just my thought.

Actually Ethiopian troops are already in Ethiopia for the second time. This is good for tiny countries like Eritrea because while this countues are focusing and using thier resources other countries lik Eritrea can concentrate on growing their economy and progressing their infrastracture. It is just sad to see those young kids loosing thier life for other countries beefit.

I am reacting to you and others because it’s a teachable moment. I only react when that urge finally meets the right moment. You are a bit confused because I was addressing a wider audience and a bigger issue.
The article says "Ethiopia [had] a bitter history in Somalia." And you kind of repeated the same line. I hate to feel that way about Ethiopia. That sounds ok when you hear about U.S. having a bitter history in Vietnam or Russia having a bitter history in Afghanistan because they are not Ethiopia and because it’s also true. And usually it means lost. Moreover, if we are writing “history” then it better be accurate. The history is Ethiopia never lost in Somalia, regardless of who fought in the name of Ethiopia. Dragging and burning a few dead soldiers, defiling a dead person as happened to Gadhafi, etc. is the height of Islamo-fascist cowardice that for some reason comes with people related to Arabs. I know people are not going to like it but related in religion. I don’t know why but that is beside the point. But dying is common in a war and just because a few soldiers died it doesn’t mean the war was lost. A hero dies.
There is no flip-flopping here. I still disagree with unprovoked drum for war as before. What I will not do and which I have NOT done before either is siding with our enemies. The only shift in my stand is not anymore celebrating any Ethiopian’s misfortune because of my political difference with them, because down the line it becomes history of Ethiopia, not woyanne. Rather I have decided to man up and settle my issue directly with woyanne than snipping from behind at every opportunity like a scorned woman. I didn't understand what you are disagreeing with. Do you disagree that al shabab fighters still look for jalabia when they hear the name Ethiopia? I am fine with your disagreement as long it is not "I am scared to fight like a man so let me bad mouth my enemy and in the process make a joke of myself ". Sometimes we sound like American whites who disagree with anything and everything Obama does whether it's correct or not, simply because they are racist. But they never want to admit that. I can only hope that we are not trapping ourselves to the same corner.
Whatever our issue is with anyone honesty is the best policy. Let's be honest about our motives and inner thought. And let's be honest about our enemies and those we disagree with, too. Let's draw a line somewhere as a society and individuals. Otherwise we will never be at peace with others and ourselves. Some Americans would say and do anything to get elected. They readily claim America lost this or that war if they think they could get elected. I think that is dishonest. If there are no good reasons for you to be elected then don’t get elected than resort to dishonesty. In our case we have enough honest reasons and even in this case we have better arguments than we lost to al shabab. But that is just me. I can't expect everyone to have the same standard.

From your new point of view it's a matter of distortion and wrong interpretation of events. Becoming a weyane has to start somewhere and often it does force people twist history into fitting a desired story which then shall be labeled as an "accurate one". I'm not going to bicker about whether weyane lost or not but I'll never equate weyane with Ethiopia on this one. Fight Egypt and I'm there with you.

Those 'few' poor Soldiers were brothers, fathers and sons husbands. Maybe few were dragged but they died in mass. But for what damned reason? Yes the ICU threatened Ethiopia but it did so because of the weyane agazi goons stationed inside their territory before even the war broke out under that make-believe story of assisting, as far as the UN is concerned, non existent regime.
