it is becoming clear now. the rebels kidnap the tourists and the ethiopian soldiers tried to rescue them which in the process five died..but it apears the rebels themselves killed some of the tourists while taking some away.

Do not forget the detailed information that the Ethiopian rebels gave, that the Eritrea government has nothing to do with them or the situation.
