These Nigerian women could easily beat our men’s team also. They are bigger in size than even our boys.

size helps but not always, diago maradona is shorty 5 feet 4 inches, lionel messi is 5 feet 6inch, franko zola 5feet 5inch, most brazil players are small in size. but good diet and good training more important, skill is in your mind, legs take order from your brain. most goals not scored by powerful kicking but by smart pass pass skill.

Ethiopia women are doing two works: beauty context which entails another responsibility and foot ball players. To win the Nigerian, it is advisable that they have to specialized in either of their works.

They have to check if these Nigerians are male or female. Many of them look like men. It was a game of beauty and the beast. In the end the gorillas won. The Lucys remains the most beautiful team to watch.

I watched the game on TV and I admire Lucy, I was hearing the noises of admiration for the Lucy’s, they are impressive with regard to ball possession, dribbling and passes, on those measures they have no match. They have shown the Ethiopian football in the highest African stage.

There is a serious lack of aggressiveness in the side of defense and attackers, I think the lack of aggressiveness have much to do with the way the Ethiopian football is in general.

I am very happy of what the Lucy’s have achieved. This championship in Equatorial Guinea for women and the coming African cup of nations in South Africa should be a place to rethink in our way of playing soccer in the attack and defense area, we are great in the middle. I am sure the players and most importantly the coaches and the federation have got a great lesson on this championship.

There is already negotiation to buy one Ethiopian women to play internationally, the first in the history of Ethiopian women soccer. Nigeria have 9 women playing internationally.

I am glad and proud of what the Lucy’s were able to achieve and hopeful they continue growing and make us proud.

We are proud of you women walk with your head high it will only get better. I see a much brighter feature both for men and women soccer in Ethiopia but we have to keep in mind sometimes you win sometimes you loose as long as you do your best and work hard that is all that is expected of you we love and support you believe that .

They were good technically. They managed to cotrol the ball but they never tried to reach Nigeria’s goal. There was no significant attempt to score a goal. Too bad they lost but it looked inevitable.

Well, one should pick up the pieces and move on. Learn from mistakes and like they said above practice more and be aggresive.
On the otherside City of Addis should set aside more parcels of land disperced in Addis to build Parks for the Public. How many parks are there in Addis where players can play football free?

Pele,

Maradna might be 5feet 4 inches but his leg thickness is as big as your waist buddy. So size matters but not always mean hight. Same with Mesi his leg is massive. They are both like yezafe GUTO.

Regarding the Nigerian Women team, if they are big and strong is not their fault, it is the Ethiopians falut for being cosasa. Same with the men’s team. Ethiopia soccer will never be like Nigerians unless our players start building their body at younger age.

You are right. Our girls could have been big and fat too, but your uncle Meles Zerafi starve them to death for the last 21 years.
