Ethiopia: Footwear manufacturer soleRebels opens retail store in Taiwan
Ethiopian footwear manufacturer soleRebels has launched the first of a series of stand-alone retail stores in Kaoshinug, Taiwan, according to a company press release.
The opening of the store is an extremely exciting opportunity in a vibrant market allowing the brand to showcase it products said Bethlehem Tilahun Alemu, Founder and Chief Executive of the company.
The opening of the store anchors the company in Asia which has a significant booming Asian retail footwear market according to the company press release. The company expects to open 30 soleRebels retail stores in Taiwan with three of these stores to be opened by the end of this year.
The entrance to the Kaoshinug store promotes the walkNAKED® brand designed to allow people to engage with the spirit of the brand by highlighting the unique and colorful designs said the company press release. More than 500 unique soleRebels styles from sandals to slip-ons and lace-ups are offered at the store at an average price range of 50 US dollars to 95 US dollars.
SoleRebels is in the middle of a global retail roll out through company owned and franchised stores to effect a retail expansion projected to add 15-20 million US dollars in revenues by 2015 noted the company press release.
