Sinai was an Israeli territory until 1979. It was given to Egypt based on Camp David agreement. That means if Egypt doesn't keep the Camp David agreement, Israel have a legitimate right to take back the Sinai from Egypt.

However, Sinai is not totally under Egypt's sovereignty. UN forces are there to control Egypt doesn't have any military presence in the peninsula which is part of the Camp David agreement. 90% people living in Sinai are not Egyptians but Palestinians.

“PLEASE put your hand on the scanner,” a receptionist at a doctor’s office at New York University Langone Medical Center said to me recently, pointing to a small plastic device on the counter between us. “I need to take a palm scan for your file.” I balked.

As a reporter who has been covering the growing business of data collection, I know the potential drawbacks — like customer profiling — of giving out my personal details. But the idea of submitting to an infrared scan at a medical center that would take a copy of the unique vein patterns in my palm seemed fraught.

The receptionist said it was for my own good. The medical center, she said, had recently instituted a biometric patient identification system to protect against identity theft.

I reluctantly stuck my hand on the machine. If I demurred, I thought, perhaps I’d be denied medical care.

Next, the receptionist said she needed to take my photo. After the palm scan, that seemed like data-collection overkill. Then an office manager appeared and explained that the scans and pictures were optional. Alas, my palm was already in the system.

No longer the province of security services and science-fiction films, biometric technology is on the march. Facebook uses facial-recognition software so its members can automatically put name tags on friends when they upload their photos. Apple uses voice recognition to power Siri. Some theme parks take digital fingerprints to help recognize season pass holders. Now some hospitals and school districts are using palm vein pattern recognition to identify and efficiently manage their patients or students — in effect, turning your palm into an E-ZPass.

But consumer advocates say that enterprises are increasingly employing biometric data to improve convenience — and that members of the public are paying for that convenience with their privacy.

Fingerprints, facial dimensions and vein patterns are unique, consumer advocates say, and should be treated as carefully as genetic samples. So collecting such information for expediency, they say, could increase the risks of serious identity theft. Yet companies and institutions that compile such data often fail to adequately explain the risks to consumers, they say.

“Let’s say someone makes a fake ID and goes in and has their photo and their palm print taken as you. What are you going to do when you go in?” said Pam Dixon, the executive director of the World Privacy Forum, an advocacy group in San Diego. “Hospitals that are doing this are leaping over profound security issues that they are actually introducing into their systems.”

THE N.Y.U. medical center started researching biometric systems a few years ago in an effort to address several problems, said Kathryn McClellan, its vice president who is in charge of implementing its new electronic health records system. More than a million people in the New York area have the same or similar names, she said, creating a risk that medical personnel might pull up the wrong health record for a patient. Another issue, she said, was that some patients had multiple records from being treated at different affiliates; N.Y.U. wanted an efficient way to consolidate them.

Last year, the medical center adopted photography and palm-scan technology so that each patient would have two unique identifying features. Now, Ms. McClellan said, each arriving patient has his or her palm scanned, allowing the system to automatically pull up the correct file.

“It’s a patient safety initiative,” Ms. McClellan said. “We felt like the value to the patient was huge.”

N.Y.U.’s system, called PatientSecure and marketed by HT Systems of Tampa, has already scanned more than 250,000 patients. In the United States, over five million patients have had the scans, said Charles Yanak, a spokesman for Fujitsu Frontech North America, a division of Fujitsu, the Japanese company that developed the vein palm identification technology.

Yet, unless patients at N.Y.U. seem uncomfortable with the process, Ms. McClellan said, medical registration staff members don’t inform them that they can opt out of photos and scans.

“We don’t have formal consent,” Ms. McClellan said in a phone interview last Tuesday.

That raises red flags for privacy advocates. “If they are not informing patients it is optional,” said Joel Reidenberg, a professor at Fordham University Law School with an expertise in data privacy, “then effectively it is coerced consent.”

He noted that N.Y.U. medical center has had recent incidents in which computers or USB drives containing unencrypted patient data have been lost or stolen, suggesting that the center’s collection of biometric data might increase patients’ risk of identity theft.

Ms. McClellan responded that there was little chance of identity theft because the palm scan system turned the vein measurements into encrypted strings of binary numbers and stored them on an N.Y.U. server that is separate from the one with patients’ health records. Even if there were a breach, she added, the data would be useless to hackers because a unique key is needed to decode the number strings. As for patients’ photos, she said, they are attached to their medical records.

Still, Arthur Caplan, the director of the division of medical ethics at the N.Y.U. center, recommended that hospitals do a better job of explaining biometric ID systems to patients. He himself recently had an appointment at the N.Y.U. center, he recounted, and didn’t learn that the palm scan was optional until he hesitated and asked questions.

“It gave me pause,” Dr. Caplan said. “It would be useful to put up a sign saying ‘We are going to take biometric information which will help us track you through the system. If you don’t want to do this, please see’ ” an office manager.

Other institutions that use PatientSecure, however, have instituted opt-in programs for patients.

At the Duke University Health System, patients receive brochures explaining their options, said Eliana Owens, the health system’s director of patient revenue. The center also trains staff members at registration desks to read patients a script about the opt-in process for the palm scans, she said. (Duke does not take patients’ photos.)

“They say: ‘The enrollment is optional. If you choose not to participate, we will continue to ask you for your photo ID on subsequent visits,’ ” Ms. Owens said.

Consent or not, some leading identity experts see little value in palm scans for patients right now. If medical centers are going to use patients’ biometric data for their own institutional convenience, they argue, the centers should also enhance patient privacy — by, say, permitting lower-echelon medical personnel to look at a person’s medical record only if that patient is present and approves access by having a palm scanned.

Otherwise, “you are enabling another level of danger,” said Joseph Atick, a pioneer in biometric identity systems who consults for governments, “instead of using the technology to enable another level of privacy.”

Introduction Many supermarkets are installing "Swipe Card" machines that automatically transacts funds from your bank account to theirs. This is one sign that we are going to a cashless society. By swiping your card and punching your number, the whole transaction is made. Also popping up everywhere are machines in stores to do your banking at. Amazingly, 10 to 15 banks, credit unions, etc. are ALL tied into this one machine!

The Universal (not American, Canadian Product Code is commonplace today. Those black lines on every product you buy! Missionaries report that these marks are found all over the world. It's a one-world system. Just think: Someone, somewhere decides what you pay for everything!

The only flaw with carrying plastic cards is that they can be stolen or lost. The solution being experimented with in parts of Europe is marking the hand with an invisible tattoo that can be swiped across a machine. MARKING PEOPLE? That's right, thus replacing plastic cards.

These developments remind me of what the Bible predicted 1,891 years ago in Revelation 13:16-18: "And he causeth all ... to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: and that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the Beast, or the number of his name ... and his number is 666."

Advancing technology is making this system possible today!

More Indications Of His Coming The rise of Satan Worship is no coincidence with the times of the beast. Missing children, Heavy Metal music, and the Satanic Bible are indications of Satan Worship. This is relevant to the Beast for his "coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders," we are told in 2 Thessalonians 2:9. (Study Revelation 13:2 and 12:9)

What Will The Beast Be Like? Many things are recorded of this man's character. A few are mentioned here. They can all be easily fulfilled today:

1. He will be the epitome of humanism. He will be the climax of Individualism! 2 Thessalonians. 2:4 says he "exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshiped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God." (They are collecting stones now to rebuild the temple in Jerusalem!) Humanism, the selfish, self-centered, me, myself and I religion of today has been the devil's deceptive lie to mankind since Eden. It was there he duped Eve promising her, "Ye shall be as gods," Genesis 3:5. In the last days, "... men shall be lovers of their own selves." 2 Timothy 3:1,2. Sound like today?

2. His message will be peace. Does the world desire peace today? What is the message of political and religious leaders alike today? PEACE! This war torn world is looking to someone that can bring about global rest. Daniel 8:25 says he "... by peace shall destroy many." During his reign, "when they shall say Peace and safety, then sudden destruction cometh upon them." Even this man will fail to bring peace. As long as man rejects the Prince of peace (Jesus Christ - Isaiah 9:16), he will never have peace!

3. Disregard for women. He'll have no "desire for women," Daniel 11:37. Perhaps an indication of homosexuality. Jesus said the last days would be like Sodom and Gommorha, plagued with the unnatural, sinful practice of homosexuality. There is more of this going on than we think.

4. He will be anti-Christ. He thinks he is God, and will stand up to all others, including Christ! "He shall also stand up against the Prince of Princes," Daniel 8:25. "Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers," Daniel 11:37. (Study 1 John 2:18) Being anti-Christ, he will also be anti-Christian. He "shall wear out the mighty and holy people" and "wear out the saints." Consult Daniel 7:21, 25 and 8:24. He will persecute God's chosen people, the Jews, and the nation of Israel, Revelation 12. Israel has always been a hated nation, because it is a testimony of God's power to preserve it. The fact that it exists today is proof that God still reigns in the affairs of men. (Study Ezekiel 37, 38, 39)

5. He will be aided by a well known religious leader. Revelation 18 tells of the coming one-world political system. Rev. 17 tells of the coming one-world religious system. Both are anti-Christ. Globalism was predicted 2000 years ago! The Ecumenical movement is the vehicle being used to bring about this one-world religious system and leader. Interesting to note, the word "ecumenical" means "universal!" A world renowned religious leader will gather the allegiance of all religions and give it to the beast, convincing all people to take his mark (666.) Read about this in Revelation 13:11-18, 16:13-14. He will appear as a lamb, speak as a dragon and do miracles by the "spirits of devils."

6. His reign will be short and troubled. See Daniel 11:40-45. Those who live selfishly will always have short and troubled lives. His reign will only last 7 years, a time of "great tribulation." (Matthew 24:21-22) A time worse than anything the world has ever seen. The world isn't getting better, but worse!

7. He will be lost forever. Revelation 19:20 says, "And the Beast was taken, and ... the false prophet. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone." (See also Revelation 20:10, Daniel 7:11) Why? Because he rejected Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvations," Hebrews 2:3.

"He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him," John 3:36.

Conclusion Humanism's hour will be a devastating failure. Apostate religion has already failed, but JESUS NEVER FAILS! Christ will come and destroy the beast with the brightness of His coming! (II Thessalonians 2:8) He shall set up His Kingdom on earth that shall never be destroyed! (Matthew 6:10, Daniel 7:14) Everything on earth is happening the way God said it would! We are in the twilight of human history. Do not procrastinate! Receive Jesus Christ as your Saviour today! Setting aside religion, your good works, or any effort you are making to earn your own salvation, will you accept God's only way of salvation, faith in Jesus Christ? It was Christ who died on the cross, not any particular religion or church!

The Atheist makes the grave and deadly error of deliberately rejecting the truth! But is Atheism really an error? Atheism is no mistake friend, it is a willing rejection of God Almighty. No child is an Atheist. A person does not become an Atheist until they've been brainwashed by some heathen teacher in a public school or godless university (or sadly by Atheist parents). Romans 1:18 teaches that mankind, even in his unrighteousness, HOLDS THE TRUTH. We read in the Word of God...

"For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men," -Titus 2:11

It is clear from the Bible that God's saving grace is extended to all humanity. Man HOLDS the truth at his fingertips. Proverb 1:20 says that wisdom crieth out in the streets for people to hear, but few listen. God's hand of invitation for salvation is extended to all people of all races of all nations. The gospel of Jesus Christ is good news for EVERYONE. If you want to be saved, it is still not too late. If your heart hasn't become hardened by unbelief to the point where you refuse to call upon the Lord for forgiveness, then you may be saved. Ironically, it is the same sun which melts the wax that also hardens the clay. The same Bible which melt one person's heart, causes another's to become hardened in unbelief. The only thing which can keep you from becoming a born-again believer is you. God wants to save everyone (2nd Peter 3:9).

The Atheist makes the foolish mistake of rejecting God. According to the Word of God, there is NO such thing as an Atheist...
