Ethiopia says Eritrea 'continues support' to Somalia's Al-Shabab - ST

By Tesfa-Alem Tekle

July 29, 2013 (ADDIS ABABA)
– In fresh allegations made by Ethiopia on Monday, the East African nation said that efforts to maintain peace and stability in Somalia is taking longer due to Eritrea’s continued support of the Islamist militia group, Al-Shabab.

The Ethiopian government said despite ongoing efforts by regional governments and the African Union peace keeping force (AMISOM), Eritrea continues to undermine peace efforts in war-ravaged Somalia.

“Although relative peace and security is gained in Somalia, Eritrea didn’t reduce its support to Al-Shabab and remains to be a destabilising influence”, Ethiopia’s foreign affairs spokesperson, Dina Mufti, told Sudan Tribune.

“Eritrea continues to violate UN Security Council (UNSC) resolutions and the country absolutely remains to be a regional security threat”, he added.

The Ethiopian government said it has its own, as well as international evidence to support its latest allegations against the secretive Red Sea nation.

“Ye fiyel wotete “shabia” tikeshaw yabete libu yabetebet, eniwaga billo ke Nebir “Ethiopia” lakebet.
Yematireba fiyel “Eritrea” zetegne teweldalech, ligochuam yalikalu esuam timotalech”

The only solution to get rid of this out law “govt” of a tiny land called Eritrea is, just to give them what they’re craving for.
Let’s invade Eritrea and capture the culprits, mainly the top officials including isayass.
In a way, we will liberate the ungrateful people from their own egoestic self, and make them live in shame.

Mr. Dina Mufti is allergic to Eritrea, always accusing the secretive state of supporting Al Shebab, but there is absolutely no evidence. The reason why Mr. Mufti accused Eritrea at this time is the international community is thinking to lift the sanctions imposed on Eritrea and Ethiopia wants to continue punish Eritrea. It way also be a pretext to invade Eritrea??

Comrades-in-arms-tuned-mortal-enemies accuse each other of aiding groups to destabilize their respective countries ever since the war that resulted in carnage of tens of thousands of people.

Reap what you sow, Woyane. Sadly, the people of Ethiopia continue to pay the price for their (TPLF & EPLF) disagreements in how effectively plunder the country and subjugate its non-Tigre population.

Eritrea continues to support any group to destabilize Ethiopia. The regime in Addis Ababa can’t do anything about it because it doesn’t have a well defined strategy to deal with its northern neighbor except perhaps arming a disorganized opposition groups.

The late PM had had resisted calls from within his party to deal with it in a decisive way. His cohorts still do so and sway a great deal of power in Ethiopia.

How can you deal with your enemies when you have their sympathizers in key positions? The regime lets them come back to a country they hate most and vowed not have anything to do with and favor them in terms of employment, education, business opportunities and housing.

A first where refuges receive better treatment than the people who host them.

Hypocrisy is always the hallmark of a regime controlled by Woyane.

The Eritrean people deserve what they have goten. I mean, they seemed to be happy with their clown master. so, all Ethiopia need to do is, to watch them closely crawling with their broken spinal cords, and spank their a****z if they ever try to cross the red lines…

Thanks to the heroic EDD that gave them a great lessons that make them to behave right and to know their limits….LOL.

God bless the world!

Day dreamers wake up! it is not 19th century more, us your gov, is working to destabilize Eritrea from out side, the so called Eritrean P. is pushing us from within because he is trying hard to unite us with his ancestors in Ethiopia. He is here to help you working tirelessly to be great leader of of the Great abbissinia( Eth). unfortunately, his secret plans are clear to all Eritreans. As for Addis zemen all I can remind him is no one has given us our freedom it was worked out for tens of years & It is GOD’s will for us to leave in peace. at the same time I have respect for Ethiopia & peace loving Ethiopian people who loves to leave in harmony with all its neoghbours.

Thie Schabia wenbede ledership has truly lived up to its name. Instead of the Singapore of Africa they had boasted to create, the out come of 21 years of rule is: failed state. Let me share my thoughts on the so called liberation of Eritrea. Which country has ever allowed its own territory for a referrendum. As we all know this was done by the two trator leadership of EPLF and TPLF. They both claimed falsely Ethiopia had colonized Mereb Melash aka Eritrea, (given to it by its colonizers) to justify the referendum. If Eritreans are not Ethiopians who on earth is. Is this part of Ethiopia that Shabia now controls not one the craddle of Ethiopian civilization?
We know the role played by enemy Arab countries, except Algeria. They are know at each others throat.

On again off again drama of Shabia and Woyane. These soap opera has been going on for 14 years now, and will continue until people decide to push the goons in Addis and Asmera to the Red Sea.

After all the lying, cheating, and stealing and the smoke clears, weyane will end up like the DERG and the monarchy before that. Hopefully Ethiopia can then get some decent leadership and steer it in the right direction.

I see nothing has change in the mind of the average nazret.com Ethiopian reader. They still think in the following fantasies:

1. Woyane and Shaebia are still working together. In reality, these two groups are total opposites of eachother. Woyane is playing divide and rule at home and Shaebia is holding unity as its highest priority.

2. The situation in Eritrea is getting worse and Eritreans are going to crawl back. LOL! This is a very funny fantasy and very far from the truth.

3. Ethiopia will eventually have access to the sea. The sickness of focusing so much energy on a sea coast is the most backward of all fantasies. Sea will be where it is today and forever. Ethiopia can take advantage of this outpost only if it can live in peace with the people who live in that land.

Will check back on this website in a few more years and by then, I hope the average commentator wakes up and smells the coffee or reality!
