Fifa moves Ethiopia and Senegal World Cup qualifiers

Source: BBC Sport

Ethiopia's crucial World Cup qualifier away to Central African Republic in September has been moved to neutral Republic of Congo, the Ethiopian Football Federation said on Wednesday.

Football's world governing body Fifa took the decision because of security reasons after after CAR's president was overthrown this year.

The final Group A game match has been relocated to Brazzaville.
Fifa has also switched Senegal's decisive final Group J game against Uganda to Morocco because of the ban on Senegal's main football stadium.

Both games are scheduled for 7 September.

Ethiopia now must win to guarantee its progression to Africa's 10-team play-offs for next year's World Cup after it forfeited a victory over Botswana for fielding an ineligible player earlier in the competition.

A blessing in disguise!
In a way, it will be a much needed training and preparation for the decisive playoff game next year.
But it doesn’t mean this game is a piece of cake. CAR will try to be a spoiler and might give all it got. With a mind set of nothing to loose, they will play relaxed with no pressure.
So, the Waliyas should keep this in mind and make sure not to be surprised.
Good luck Waliyas!!!!

Why do almost all of them have different types of shoes. How are shoes distributed in this Team? Any ways it looks cool that one can read stories of all kinds in the Shoes that Ethipian Team wears :)

ይህ ማለት የ ኢትዮጵያ አግር ክዋስ ፌዴሬሽን ጫማ ለመግዛት ገንዘብ የለውምና ለሞን ያገኘውን ጫማ ነው የሚያስታጥቃቸው !!!

Tchama Lyunet ,it’s because since 2000 each player can wear the type of shoes of his choices .Just a question of sponsoring and Sport Business . Today in any National Team without the Tchirts and shorts which are still uniform ,players are wearing different type of shoes .
