This is one of great legacies of our visionary brilliant leader the great Meles Zenawi.
Now, more and more African leaders are going to rub shoulders with developed countries’ leaders, which makes it easy to be heard and have our says.

President Barack Hussein Obama may enviously think about Desalegin Haile Mariam’s tergiversation as Obama watches Putin, welcoming warmly the Prime Minister of Ethiopia and shaking his hand with an expression of deep gratitude, sincere friendship, and a closer relationship with Ethiopia rather than with Washington. This is indeed a great concern for Obama, who has completely ignored Ethiopia as if this great country of ours doesn’t exist on the map of the world. Obama must blame himself if Ethiopia is contemplating abandoning Washington and joining the Kremlin as the attrition between Putin and Obama worsens every single day and as the American people are betraying their President not to go to war with him against Bashar Al-Assad of Syria. I don’t blame them for a second because the civil war in Syria is a war between Muslims against Muslims, and Obama has no business to meddle in the affairs of the Arab-Muslim nations. Americans are tired of defending the Arab Muslim world and neglecting the Christians who are being slaughtered every day by the Islamist terrorists. He doesn’t even recognize those who murder the Jews and the Christians are Islamist terrorists. He simply says “extremist elements” rather than calling them by their natural names – Jihadist or terrorist Muslims.

To tell the truth, this is not Obama’s great year; it is rather the year of Desalegn Haile Mariam of Ethiopia, who has demolished the sophistry of the Jihadist and the terrorist Muslims in the Christian land of Ethiopia while Obama cuts off the aid to the Egyptian military that brought down from power the Jihadist Morsi, friend of Barack Hussein Obama. Mr. Obama, from day one, worked hard for the Egyptian Jihadist Muslim Brotherhood to succeed and rule Egypt, and there is a reason why Obama is unhappy by the unexpected collapse of the Muslim Brotherhood, according to The New York Times (8/25/2013).

The New York Times reports: “Among supporters of the new government, ‘Islamist’ has become a popular indictment. After Mr. Obama criticized Egypt’s crackdown on the Islamists, Tahani el-Gebali, a former judge close to the military, publicly accused him of having ties to the Brotherhood, claiming his Kenyan half-brother directed investments for the group.” Therefore, we should not be surprised if we see President Obama laments about the fall of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood from grace but doesn’t do anything good to the rest of the African states, particularly to the Ethiopians who have been fighting Islamist terrorists and keeping American interest in the Horn of Africa intact since the ascendancy of the former Prime Minister of Ethiopia to power.

I have no doubt in my mind President Desalegn Haile Mariam is mulling over leaving Washington and embracing the Kremlin and Beijing as the business partnerships between Ethiopia and East Asia is booming and the American influence in Africa, during the Presidency of Obama, is plummeting than ever before. Obama has still plenty of time to fulfill the broken promises he has made through his first term in the White House if he wants his second term to be remembered as remarkable and productive in helping the African continent in the area of fighting hunger and disease.

In the meantime, Mr. Desalegn Haile Mariam of Ethiopia, with all the photo opportunities and the warm welcome he has been receiving from the G20 Submit, is sashaying in front of the leaders of the most prosperous nations as he is the chairman of the African Union. This is, indeed, the time for him to show to the world that he is leading Ethiopia to the bright future as his country is growing economically faster than most of the other African states. He must lure the East Asian nations to invest in Ethiopia and tell them Ethiopia is the safest country that will never disappoint her customers in treating each one of them fairly and equally. After all, Ethiopians are naturally warm, humorous, and friendly people.

Oh god, Nazret.com, you are really gone to far this time, Oh boy! don’t you realize that you should only have to post, the picture of G7 leader Birhanu Nega, (a mayor without a city or a visionary Prime minister and a great president but without a country to lead) with president Esayas at the open secret summit of anti Ethiopia, G20 conference at Asmara?
Humm any way the Ethiopian PM looks so good I can only say that, thanks nazret.com

Dear Mr. Assta,
I am often reading your comments in every article on this web.you are writing long comments, pretending as intelectul and analytic.I learned ,of course from your comments, that you are narrow minded, dogmatic and you have no any bussiness than fanatically attacking all muslim citizens of the world. You can hate personally any body, but not to generalize all in one basket. This is a bad and dangerous behavior for all of us.Every one has the right for his confession and religion. You don´t seem for me democratic and intelectul person.
I am sorry to say, but I feel it .This is not the way ,how to unite Ethiopia, but to divide it.

Way better than the late PM who posed for group pictures standing far back alone and smiling for the cameras like a fool.

For a change this PM looks relaxed and feels at home rubbing arms with the heavyweights of the world although no chance of actually that happening.

He at least posed for official pictures like any other who gathered there without making a fool of himself like the late despot.

PM is slowly dumping, at least on the world stage, that painful legacy of his predecessor.

A disgrace to Kremlin to come close to this Butcher Hailemariam who beats our women and who is killing our men in Assasa and now Kofele. This man is real danger to Muslims of Ethiopia and he must be stopped soon otherwise, the misery of my people will be beyond incalculable. He does not deserve any treatment he deserves full hand cuff. Sad the Obama admnisitration is turning blind eye to this man. The sooner we get rid of this man the better Ethiopia will be. Hailemaraim move to close the door of diplomacy and move it to the ranks of Russia will make my country backward and full in the hands of the Wayane Junta.
