Ethiopia skipper Degu Debebe has warned their opponents CAR not to expect any mercy on Saturday when they clash in Brazzaville.

Debebe further called on his team to give 100 percent while reiterating that the mood in the camp had been exceptional ahead of the big game.

"We are happy to be finally in Brazzaville as everyone in the team has been waiting for this match against CAR. We have the confidence we will carry all the three points as we have prepared well for the important match."

"This is a great moment for our country as we can now dare dream about the World Cup which has not come on a silver platter. We are very positive and our plans are now geared towards the playoffs," Debebe told supersport.com.

"We want everyone to rally behind us as we have forgotten the debacle that led to the three points deduction and now our focus remains on winning on Saturday," he added

We may think CAR team will play soft as long as they’re out of the picture for World Cup. But, you never know, South Africa can give them some kind of bribe or incentives to play hard, even if they win promising them big money.
Our team should be aware of that, and make it business as usual. Play to win!
Good luck Waliyas!

The CAR team had no incentive to play hard, now, they do!!! Not a smart move mouthing-off like that. Their coaches will have Degu’s words printed on a large banner to rally the players.

The Coach and players bosting too much. you guys hae allready messed up ones and you shoud be hamble and focus on the much. You guys have a lot to learn from the great Haile G/selassie. “Kedmo aynagerim, mashenefun siyawkew” said Teddy Afro.

I hope you win but I think you have allready underestimated your opponents, and that is a sign of defeat. Good luck any way!

In addition to the point that @ Addis Zemen has made, many a team had fallen for staying late drinking and partying. Opposing team try to weaken their opponents by sending free drinks and prostitutes to their rooms.
Let’s stay Mission Ready and Alert.
Good Luck Waliyas!

I think What the players and coaches are saying Are getting lost in translation. I don’t think the players would brag about the upcoming game that way this article is articulating Watts has been said.
