How sad is the fate of cape Verde to lose their spot just for that same stupid mistake, fielding ineligible player, which could have been the demise of our own waliyas.
Way to go Waliyas!
I’m sure this new ranking will have a great effect pumping our payers’ moral high. That’s a great recognition.

I am obviously very pleased with the improvement of our ranking by 9 spots and very proud with the direction our football is taking. For me, this is truly living the dream.

But one must feel sad for the shocked heartbroken and inconsolable people of Cape Verde who have had their dream ripped away from them. Just wondering if the EFF bosses had an internship in Cape Verde that caused this disaster? Now they are even questioning the Congo Niger game. If FIFA finds that Niger fielded an illegal player, then Burkina Faso might be eliminated. What are all these useless federation officials across Africa doing!?

I really wished we could meet Egypt in the final round. Deliver a blow by breaking their hearts and wounding their national identity. But that wont happen now. Let’s hope we can
draw Algeria or Tunisia.

Breaking News:
Following its hallmark backward, obsolete and long gimgema, the Woyane-infested FBF of Ethiopia has finally named Addis Gomen as both the No. 1 goalie and speaker of the Ethiopian team for the upcoming games that decide the last five teams for the 2014 World Cup. The number of goals that will be scored against us due to this wrong decision is estimated at 13, 8 being expected to pass through the rather arch-shaped bracket legs of the goalie and 5 through his big non-stop chattering mouth, which appears never to stop blabbering the dead tyrant’s name every other minute. We wish not to suffer a defeat worse than this.

NB: Addis Gomen is a new goalie from the Dedebit Team. His two serious openings mentioned above are described by an expert as “goals within a goal” and are expected to be the major pitfalls of the entire team. Some experts predicted the number of goals at 11, a bit less than the one estimated above, citing the number of players within the team - thus a goal corresponding to each player. Others agree to this estimate, but they relate the number to the sign engraved on Addis Gomen’s eyebrow soon after he was born around Dedebit some 60 years ago.

Fielding an inilegible player cost Cape Verde islanders a spot in the final round. They must have been devastated. An island smaller than Djibouti made head lines for their achievements in the last African Cup.

It nearly cost us a chance to reach the final round. Many African countries got punished/sanctioned for fielding ineligible players of some sort. Why is such practice so prevalent in African football?
Isn’t there communication between the coach, the player, and the officials who oversee the matches? Why stuff like this rarely happens in other football associations?

That said Waliyas have their job cut out. No one, least of all the players take the next match to be easy. Stay focused, and have the mental strength you demonstrated in earlier matches.

The potential opponents may be stronger than the Waliyas. The pressure is on them to win and Waliyas have the advantage of being the under dogs.

Allez les Waliyas!

Cape Verde could have take lesson from the mistake made by waliyas and avoid the heartbreaking news for their supporters. The other things I believe the fifa ranking is comprehensive.

“Ethiopia is now ranked 25th in Africa behind Congo and ahead of Equatorial Guinea.”

Since 2012, Ethiopia did play the African cup which is one of the 16 African nations. Currently Ethiopia is one of the 10 African nations in World cup qualification.

So, why is Ethiopia still in 25Th place?

Of course who controls FIFA?

As usual the devils especially the English that are at war against Ethiopia for years in all sides including intentionally damaging the nation image, undermined her citizens and affecting in many ways including coming in the country in the name of media, NGO, charity and the likes.

2006 must be the New Year, Ethiopians finally gets the truth and understands the evil nature of the English and are the worst foreign demons to be found in our country trying everything in every way to affect us.

It is killing them badly especially mentally because Ethiopia is now getting many friendly and good nations all over the world and is growing in a way the evil English will not play the aid propaganda dirty games to come in order to implement their Satanic secret agendas where some of them are very devastated including reaching remote rural areas and acting as if they do care for them while affecting the naive people have no idea about the evil nature of the English and their associates.

People need to know not only what English are doing against Ethiopia including intentionally damaging the country image and doing all evil acts they are doing since long time, but also the crimes against humanity and nature they did in Africa, Asia, North America, Australia and the likes. This year must be the begging of the End the English crimes and obstacles against our nation and naive people stink they are good people and believing and allowing them in the country act as God while doing as satans and devils with devastated results. England is the front runner why Ethiopia has lost her ancient sea coast line. This will continue remaining us how evil are the small evil island.

Football was a kind of game in today’s Peru, Bolivia and the likes for thousands years. They took the ideas from there and they are telling the world as if they are invented it. The truth is, they didn’t invent it but they changed the rule of the game and became the way it is today.

Of course, while searching for land on the endless seas and oceans, they reached to Africa, Asiatic American and 200 years ago, Australia and the likes. But they didn’t say, we reached in those places but they discovered them despite those continents and peoples are 1000s times bigger, ancient and historical than they are.
The idea of discovering them is made intentionally in order to own them and they did it with committing gruesome crimes all over beyond Europe, in a way never ever happened before in Human history.

I share the comments, how can a team in top 10 be 25th rated? Also see the gap between Spain and Argentine - how do the ratings work?

Boka, please don’t respond for this moron. He is trying to divert his to another topic so let’s enjoy our success. You remembe how they destroyed our team spirit, those muslim fundamentalists by wearing our national team jersey by putting their DIMSACHIN YIZEGA PLEA. So don’t give them attention. For them Ethiopia’s success is their failure.

The current Ethiopian National Team has been performing great. In the last two years the team never lost in Addis, lost only two games during 2013 AFCON in South Africa. The team qualified: 1)for 2013 AFCON after 31 years 2)1st time for CHAN 2014 3)2014 World cup 3rd round final pay off by becoming #1 in Group A 4)became one of the 10 best teams of Africa. All Ethiopians should be proud of this team.I don’t agree with the current FIFA ranking, 93. In my opinion they deserve far better.
