"Too young for democracy" : President of Ethiopia

Senile Ethiopian President Girma W/Giorgis admits that there is no democracy in Ethiopia. He literally said in his speech at the opening of the new parliamentary year: quote
“ But since our people are still too young for democracy, so many problems have been created in the past year” unquote.
It is a known fact that all the speeches of the president are written at the Crime Minister’s office and as long as he can speak and read, Girma W/Giorgis is an excellent ventriloquist doll for the current tyrants.

It is the old argument that has dug up again and which is used several times the last week. Dribbling Bereket ‘Goebbels’ Simon, alias Baghdad Bob, used it to teach Dr.Beyenne Petros a lesson, when he accused the ruling party of several omissions in dealing with the ones that bowed or became traitors, those who pretent to be the opposition.

You wonder if they run out of arguments or that dribbling is not the only thing that has started after the Crime Minister’s public relation advisor had some strokes a couple of weeks ago. Maybe mental retarding has also got his grip on him. Well he makes a nice pair with Girma W/Giorgis. They are looking for a successor, so as long as he can read and speak.

Anyhow the next parliamentary year the press law is going to be discussed, the reorganization of the National Election Board, a new Broadcast Regulation, the issue of terrorism and a new law of the working of local and international NGO’s .
All of course pre-cooked by the Crime Minister’s office and since the real opposition is suffering in Kaliti, success is assured.

The Ethiopian Parliament is a fig leave for the Ferenji money machine and the Mafia Gang just goes on with its atrocities. Alemayehu Fantu, the owner of the Fantu supermarkets is the latest victim of the security forces and is being tortured in prison. Three other who were arrested for the same reason have been killed while imprisoned.
Their crime seems to be having a calendar with photos of political prisoners and an incitement for peaceful resistance. I wonder if the bowers have courage enough to ask questions about the constitutional rights of Ato Alemayehu Fantu and the other victims. Certainly now their situation has attracted international attention and publicity.

I think Kihedetu Ayalekebet http://www.addisfortune.com/vol%207%20No%20326%20images/Lidetu-Ayalew.gif should defened Ato Alemayehu Fantu and Yalemzwed, a female activist. http://seminawork.blogspot.com/2006/10/prominent-human-rights-campaigner.html

seble,
What do Woyane midgets understand by professionalism? As to proving to the world what is going on in Ethiopia, well, it is your choice if you do not want to hear what you hear, if you do not want to see what you see.If I were you I would be a little careful to critisize Urael. He is fighting against evil in his homeland at a great personal risk while you seem to be an evil-worshipper for whatever reason. One last point: when you mention Meles and the Ethiopian people in the same breath, without being too impolite, I must question your sanity. The two have absolutely nothing in common.

Our President should ask his daughter Guenet Guirma about democracy. She will tell him if our people is ready or not.
