By watching this documentary I am not impressed by the way the story of Negist Saba is presented. Mr Michael Wood did not do a very good job in preparing and telling the story of Negist Saba as it relates to the people who believe in the history.

To me it looks like he has an agenda in presenting the story of Nigist Saba as Queen of Sheba. In my opinion his agenda is to portray and keep the story as a myth. By doing so he hopes the believers to become disbelievers of the true story.

Who ever came up with the name Queen of Sheba to refer to Nigist Saba do so to confuse people. When we look carefully the reference Queen of Sheba, we find out that the name of the Queen is hidden. When you say Queen of Sheba, Your understanding is, The Queen of a place called Sheba. So far as I know there is no place or region called Sheba in the history books. Actually the name of the Queen is Sheba or Saba and ruled over both sides of the Red sea namely present day Ethiopia, Sudan, Somalia, Yemen, and Saudi Arabia.

Also in his narrative in the so called documentary he tried to portray her as an African Queen. Africa as a continent has never had one ruler in its history. Every region in Africa have had their own rulers. So Nigist Saba (Queen Sheba)only ruled over the east and north eastern side of Africa on both sides of the regions along the Red Sea.

So Mr. Wood let the story of Nigist Saba be told by people who know about the story. Since your agenda from the get go is to discredit the story and keep it as a myth. By the way can you put your best effort to good use by asking your British government and the Royal house to return all looted Ethiopian historical items along with the body of Prince Alemayeu son of King Tewodros be returned to their rightful place in Ethiopia?
