Watching the report by Dateline was an eye opener for me to learn about the brutal nature of the regime in Ethiopia. I have seen the report, and it is for sure there are blind mischeves been done during this specific election. The current government has done a lot of ugly things to this poor country. But I don't think, we always lead a political mind that always deny the fact there is nothing being done and nothing been improved. The one thing that makes me sick, is Citizens even Achieved some good things in this years of some peace at least are not even been heard saying that they done any good thing for the country, in all these years of EPRDF governence. The logic leads us that they are doing nothing, but eating and shiting politics. So all of you the so called "Diasporas", don't lead the people to another destructive mentallity, at least you have some family, in the country who dosn't know nothing about your preache.
If we are not confortable with this government, we have to be winners of the political game not the a war. Vaiolance should be past History.

Where is their stand?.What can make the Ethiopian people happy in case of their plan.In which part they have real similarity with Ethiopian people?.
For me they only running to over throw Meles Zenaw's govenment.Then later they might need idea from the public.In Ethiopians politics as I guess Dr Merara Gudina has some sort of clear view for his stands.The rest for my evaluation, hobby poleticians.YETEMARE YIGDELEGN?.
If EPRDF left who is going to be on the place.Every body betrayed badly. Who is goiog to dream for Ethiopians peace?.

I watched this australian program and would like to say i can see that the current government is highly hypocritical> According to this program in 1991 it was the current government who over threw the government of the time by entering addis in tanks. It was gorilla war fare for them. They then took the role as government.

In this program when asked : " do you think it was appropriate to use bullets on mothers and children?" The current gov. replied that it was not appropriate but niether was trying to overthrow a government!!!!!"

This is amazing! Its clear that first they give the message to the ethiopian people that the way to get your own way is to over throw the current government - they did this by force using tanks! Now they want to persicute and kill people just for protesting!!!!!!!

Do they actually understand the meaning of the word "democracy" ? Has it lost its meaning somewhere in translations??????? Somehow i dont think so.

I think the time has come for them to practice what they preach. Ethiopians are such beautiful people and deserve freedom and real democracy. Hopefully this situation will be rectified without further violence!!!!

There is a new Sheraton Hotel built by one Ethiopian billioner and the ring road build by the Chinese people. Population of the city trippled homelessness is very high. Most People depend on their relatives or friends to send them money from abroad for daily survival. The economy may seem to look good because most people who live outside the country will come to visit Ethiopia around December and in the Summer time.
