Ethiopia - Eritrea: Derartu Rings NYSE Closing Bell and Meb on Letterman's show

Ethiopia's Derartu Tulu who became the first Ethiopian woman to win the New York City marathon was honored at the New York Stock Exchange on Monday to ring the closing bell of the granddaddy of all stock markets. Derartu was joined by Edith Hunkeler of Switzerland, women's wheelchair winner and Mary Wittenberg, President and CEO of the New York Road Runners. Derartu takes a prize money of $130,000 for finishing first.

Derartu is the first African woman to win a Gold medal in the Olympics, when she clinched the gold medal in 10000m in the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona. Eight years later she won another Olympic gold medal in Sydney.

In 2001, Derartu was a winner in the London and Tokyo Marathons.

Meb Keflezighi presents the "Top Ten Thoughts That Go Through Your Mind When Running The New York City Marathon."

American Meb Keflezighi, who was born in Eritrea, was a guest at Late Show with David Letterman.

I agree with you about Gonderes at first. However, don't insult them because the follow Christ that is stupid to say that. However, from my experience, I agree that, Gonderes are good in sarcasm, insults of other tribes, and putting down other people, they put curse on you. This is for real. let me say this. It is with great joy that I read the triumphant headline of Derertu's win. Congratulation is of the order at this moment. Additionally she was the guest bell ringer in the famous NYSE. If you ask me Derertu's appearance at the stock exchange site carries a lot of respect and message when compared to Meb's appearance in the late night show.

It's almost same as having Hummer2 the all-terrain rugged performance with a legendary economical gas sipping energy conserving engine of Prius. Unless you, yourself is a Woyane or an Eritrian, there is no need of adding fuel to the fire and give to what woyanes wanted you to do--insulting your fellow Oromo Ethiopians.

The truth of the matter is that, every ethnic group in Ethiopia have been going through hell for the last almost 20 years under Woyane regime, and Oromos haven’t been treated any better by Woyanes, but victims of woyanes. We need to know that Woyanes will do anything to create chaos and division among us by pretending to be as an Amhara, Oromo or even as an Ethiopian Orthodox Christian or Muslim. Knowing their intentions--we the people need to be aware and alert of Woyanes and Eritrians of divide and rule mentality.

Would any person who is hurt badly in a major car accident complain about a small paper cut he/she had a week before, of course not!
My friends, we are in immediate crisis, please do not take your eyes off the ball and get distracted by woyanes and Eritrians tactics to divide us.
