Ethiopia regulators banned Chinese company's marketing strategy

The Ethiopian Drug Administration and Control Authority (DACA) has banned Tiens Ethiopia's network marketing system, the company's primary method of distributing its supplementary foods.
Tiens Group, a multinational conglomerate owned by a Chinese businessman, opened its local branch, Tiens Ethiopia Business Plc, in 2007 to import and distribute its well-known supplementary food capsules and powders in Ethiopia.
