Ethiopia - Teddy Afro rocked Dubai - Video

Teddy Afro, Ethiopia's most popular singer, rocked Dubai on his first foreign concert after being released from prison last August.

The singer, whose real name is Tewodros Kassahun and who is seen as close to Ethiopia's opposition, was sentenced to six years in prison and a heavy fine for manslaughter after a 2006 traffic accident left a homeless man dead.

The Supreme court reduced his sentence on appeal in February and he was freed in August. He has always protested his innocence, saying he was not even in the country at the time of the accident.

On a serious note, The arab countries are probabely the best places for Ethiopian expatriates. Say whatever you want, but the fact of the matter is Ethiopians or for that matter any immegrants get more proseprous very quickely working in the arab world like Jeddah, Abudabi, dubia, and quatar than any where else in the world.

I really do not know how many of you grew up with a mother and a father in a functional family. It is really sad to see all these digraceful insults to one another.

There is nothing wrong being maid, gered, ashker, a prostitute,grow in the streets, cleaning toilets etc etc. That is why we are backward as a country and in our thinking.

So, let Teddy do his job and the rest of you yours. But, please think twice be for writing or commenting. You are hurting those people who are unfortunate to be in this position. It is really sad to hear and listen such a ordinary/shamefull comments.I think nazret deserves better people than you. To nazret.com...you may need to to stop some of this useless and worthless coments... otherwise people will be leaving your site as it sounds.
