Ethiopia - Utah Appeals court cleared Ethiopian of Gun Charges
nazret.com - An Appeals court in Utah has tossed gun charges against Kidus Chane Yohannes, an Ethiopian immigrant, who was arrested in June 2007 while he was a student at what was then Utah Valley State College. His roommates contacted the police after seeing a stockpile of weapons in his possession.
According to media reports Kidus bought three AK-47s and he was charged with giving false information in order to purchase several of those guns. But the appeals court has tossed out the gun charges.
