Ethiopian Airlines Addis-Lusaka flight had burst tyres; all passengers safe

Ethiopian Airlines flight from Ethiopia's Capital Addis Ababa to Lusaka, Zambia via Malawi had suffered a burst tyre while touching down at Lusaka’s International Airport, the Zambia Post reports. All the 67 passengers on board the flight disembarked from the plane safely. The return flight to Addis Ababa was canceled.

Ethiopian Airlines Zambia Area Manager, GEBRE ALEMU told ZNBC's MWILA NSOFU that all passengers that were in transit have been accommodated in LUSAKA.

Mr. ALEMU said flights from Lusaka to Ethiopia will resume today after good tyres are received or when another plane is sent to pick up the passengers.

Ethiopian airlines is the most profitable airline in Africa and flies to more destinations in Africa than any other airline. It is one of the largest and fastest growing airlines in Africa, made its maiden flight to Cairo in 1946.

Its ok. It happens to any air planes. I have seen on my own eye one time on Delta flight so its not big deal. May be the disbosable diaspora may tell us woyane did it too.

The good thing is no one was hurting on that incident.I am so happy for happy ending there.Yeha

"does it have any thing to do with the diaspora?"

Yes it have everything with the useless diaspora as the news will be another reason why the diaspora should have to continue the party following the news about famine. We know the saddist banda diaspora rejoices when there is disaster in Ethiopia.

As a banana head traintor diaspora you might deny this, my suggestion is go back to comments that report disaster and development and compare the number of participants and you will find hundereds of rejoicing diaspora below a sad news and almost none below a news in the achivements of Ethiopia.

Yeha,
Do you and Z-Mike take turns monitoring this website on behalf of the government? Seriously, I noticed you disappear when he is here and vice verse. And you actually do pre-emptive damage control (like above) like a real public relations specialist. I think you and Z-Mike should replace Bereket Simon you are better PR people.

I have tried to understand your deep rooted hate for the Diaspora. First of all, I was under the impression this website is blocked in Ethiopia, so you yourself must be a part of the Diaspora you hate so much. Also, people comment more on the bad news because they are more emotional when they see Ethiopians starving to death on CNN. This surely makes them love their country more not less right? A majority of people in the Diaspora go by what their families tell them, what they see when they visit, and what they hear in the news. From these sources most have learned that life for their family has become harder, more expensive, and unfair, they see more buildings in AA but more beggars too, and they see the famine all over the news.

For the last time, the Diaspora want what you want, a strong united developing Ethiopia. I guess the only difference is you would prefer if Amharas weren't a part of Ethiopia anymore.

elias :D you made me laugh. Nice joke there about Delta flying from Adigrat to Shire. BY now, we all know that "yeha" a die hard TPLF fan. yeha also seems to harbour anger towards the diaspora who exposed meles zenawis true color to the world of his killing spree during the 2005 election.
