Thousands of Israelis of Ethiopian origin marched in Jerusalem on Sunday to protest against a delay in plans to bring their relatives to the Jewish state.

Those people should stay home and get their democracy. Escaping to Israel will not help any more. Those living there are trying to come back to the real home.

Isreal had through away a doneted blood conservation of the ethiopian Community before short time ago with the reason it was infected with HIV. But the had tested before conservation and there ware no HIV Indication. Some of them are cleaming to be hold like slaves and a second nation. So try to have your chance in your own country.

Israel should solve his problem with palistinia with them selves and don't import a poor soldgers from ethiopia.

Ethiopia is the motherland of all humanity, "Lucy" and all; if there were enough "Forno" in Ethiopia, they would be the first to claim Ethiopianhood. For them Forno trumps pride. But that Forno will not come easily in Israel or anywhere else. They will have to shade some blood and tears for it. But why do they have to go that far if they are willing to work that hard ? They could have "Kitfo" at home for half the effort!

It's all economics and not about being a Jew. As said above, if Ethiopia was a rich country, they would have practicsed their faith here. I know a lot of non Falasha who migrated to Israel claiming to be falasha. You can't blame them for seeking a better life. But the question is has it been ALGA be ALGA for them. NOT!!. So they better learn to accept the consequences of their decision and try to change things.

I’ve to agree with some of you the reason why the Flasha’s want to reside in Israel possibly is because poverty, economy, and just like the rest of us who live abroad they may think life in Israel is better than Ethiopia. However, we should learn no matter what background we came from we all are unique and different and all are Ethiopians which we should accept and move on to work hard to pass the legacy to the next generation instead of dwelling in the past. They need to be aware of that wherever they go they will always be Ethiopians not just the Falasha Mura’s who wanted to get out of their motherland because the Israel government not providing them welfare checks.
