Meles is either full of guilty sense that cannot be masked or denied, So that he has to stay away to avoid the angry faces arising from the atrocities he shamelessly perpetrated against the people of Ethiopia, or there is no one he can trust any more to leave behind so as to look after his premiership.

Seyou is the right hand of MELES. He can do the job just as good as our PM. The PM is busy trying to lift the economy as he has been doing. I am glad he puts the country first. That is what i call real leader.

GO EPRDF!

whether PIMP Zenawi come to Nuyork, or DC or Qabri-Dahari or stays at 4-killo won't change the fact that ethiopian people are hostage of him. Those of you who think he will stepdown by your eyeye's on western streets are bloody fool. Get real folks, don't expect United SNAKES of America or Queen/king of wales or some white azz will care about your godforsaken backward state. They careless for lesser state like yours. So, if you want Ato Zenawi to step down take your AK-45 and run to jungle of Ethiopia or contribute some $$$ for those who are facing his mercenaries.

Meles is neither busy working to lift the economy not trying to stay away from the angry diaspora. He has a very important meeting to attend in Mekele. This is 'gimgema' time for EPRDF. I wonder if the 'gimgema' in Mekele is more important than representing Ethiopia at the UN, specially when the outcome of the 'gimgema' is known apriori. The man has to stay close to his base - what if they consider a vote of no confidence in his absense (something they might not consider doing in his presence). Meles is no Thaksin(ousted Thailand PM).

Ha! Busy my foot! Meles chickened out!

Actually it makes sense for Woyanie to scrap his appearance since it will bring nothing but shame and ignominy. I think the military takeover in Thailand also has some chilling effect on the spines of this despotic looter. Like Urael indicated yesterday, the country is in a heightened state of alert for revolt and mass unrest.

Finally the end is near for TPLF and lekim is already composing the ballad for the final curtain and Wozeiro Condjo I hear is choreographing the ‘deflating baloon’ ballet. Alula Yemesker and Cheffe are designated as the ‘wailing and howling chorus boys.’

Cheers,

-Gundan

You guys keep fooling your self as usual.

Meles is great leader that he is the only leader changed the way Ethiopia was being ruled.

In the past, Ethiopia was going back ward like Camel pee.

Meles sent Ethiopia forward and you can't deny it. Just visit Ethiopia every where and tell the truth.

There was no Ethiopian leader in the past ever tried to improve country of Ethiopia than focusing in Addis Ababa and chasing after their own personal matters and their relatives.

Shame on you guys who don’t like positive change.

You will never achieve with or without meles’s leadership in the future. People of Ethiopia have changed especially farmers.

You can mind your own personal business as usual.

That was what you have been doing and now you are jealous because Ethiopia changed beyond your expectations.
I am Amhar too but what is point of supporting you when you have poor vision for country. Kinijit? They can take a hike in USA. You have been feeding us with empty promises and pack of lies.

He will rule his full term and continue to change Ethiopia as long as he remains leader of Ethiopia.

We unit with people of Ethiopia with confident.

The best support H.R. 5680 could ever have is the cancellation of the trip by Meles. It is a clear acknowledgement of Ethiopian peoples’ concerns over those undemocratic acts.

Whether he comes or not, he is doomed.

If you see from the least of all speakers for today, most of them are represented by their deputies, ministers, or other subordinates. Why is so strange about PM Meles being represented by his Foreign Minister? Why do you expect him to go your way? Why do you think everything is wrong with PM Meles?

Fortunately, he has his way too, accurate and purposeful.
Even the moderator asked me if I have an inside information. Well, my dear moderator, you should know better. I could tell you more, but being worried of write off from your web page, I decline to say what I wanted to say.

Please do not try to fool others. We have never had leaders but dictators and butchers who used the opportunity to grab power and ‘lead’ the country into shambles. He is busy stealing the resources of the country and fabricating false accusations against citizens who want to see real democracy in our country. I think the embarrassment he encountered every where he went finally got to him, and decided to make some more money by staying inside the palace. THE COUP IN THILAND is the other reason he wanted to stay. Leba Woyane!!

Your master and all you hodam 'agafaris' are a big time looser at the very first month of the very last year of the Ethiopian 20th century. Dedicated peace and freedom lovers of Ethiopia have already started writing a lyrics for the last 'good bye woyanes' anthem of the coming real celebration.

Alula, 'kewedeku behual meferaget Le'memelalet', arifeh tegna!

God bless the people of Ethiopia that have endurde the unthinkable woyanes treachery and betrayal on their shoulder especially for the past one year! You are shaking them from their very base and foundation which will turn them into misty dusty ash.

Ethiopia Shall Be Free!!!

I really admire your determination to stay positive, i really do and it is making me laugh out loud as well.Do u think we care about who represents who at the assembly? Jilo, we are talking about a troubled country, a determined people, a corrupted government, a rejected and hated group and most of all Bandas at the helm of our nation who are responsible for the crimes of all accounts including looting, killing(mothers and babies inclusive), false acusations, hijacking their own constitution, selling out the nation's interests, fomenting hate and division....countless crimes that have carried out through out the past fifteen years........have i said enough to wake u up? u can ask for more if u want.......

Irregardless of who shows at the UN, the last decade and half is the only time that this great nation has been represented by her proud sons and daughters.
For those of you who can’t swallow the fact that Ethiopia consists of diverse people who are capable of deciding their destiny, simply enjoy the zesty cool breath from the highlands and the ride will be a lot more pleasant.

We were there at the UN to denounce Melese Zenawi whether he showed up or not it did not matter to us and we send messages to every one who came across our beautiful flag and our beautiful people.

A letter was sent to Koffi Annan to remind him and the International Community, that Ethiopia is under terror after the regime lost election on May 2005.

Ethiopians denounced the unelected leader, Melese Zenawi, and called the names of all the imprisoned leaders and demanded their immediate release from jail.

I had a chance to meet the current advisor to the Somalia government and he told me that he was in Addis and saw many buildings and structures and the economic boom and invited me to go and see it myself.

I told him that buildings can be built in Addis or Baghdad that does not mean people are free under Melese or were free under Saddam, and I told him that our people are living in prison and their leaders are in jail at this moment.

His perception of Ethiopians is very positive since he wittnessed how Somalis were treated by Ethiopians and wished our region get peace so that we can develop and prosper.

The demonistration was successful in sending messages, and some of the participants were interviewed including me, and I thank those who organized the demonistration and those who particpated in the beautiful atmosphere, and I hope on the next UN gathering we will hold flowers for the elected leaders of Ethiopia.
